Bruno Mars:- A star

INTRODUCTION:-

                                  Peter Gene Hernandez was born on October 8th 1985. He is better known as Bruno Mars by the world. He is a lead singer and was raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. He came from a family were singing was considered their tradition. Peter who acted on stage when he was just 3,4 years was encouraged and motivated mainly by his uncle Elvis. His debut album Doo-Wops and hooligans was great hit. His singles such as Just the way you are and Grenade were ranked 3rd the billboard 200. He was nominated for 7 Grammy awards in the 57th Grammy awards and in which he won the best male pop voice in the song Just the way you are. His albums sold like hot cakes by whooping 40 millions and his singles 6 million. Together selling 46 million copies.

                        
                            

EARLY LIFE:-

  His family moved from Philippines to Hawaii. But his father left them and went further and settled in an island Brooklyn, New York. Bruno Mars was one of the 6 children. His father nicknamed him Bruno because he resembled the legendary wrestler  Bruno Sammartino. His  Uncle Elvis motivated him and encouraged him to act on stage when he was just 3 to 4 years on his father's band.  Soon he began to act five days a week on his family's band.

   At the age of 17 Bruno moved to Los Angeles , California in pursue of his musical career. His stage name 'Bruno Mars' came from very funny circumstances. His name Bruno came from his father's nickname for Peter Gene, the name Mars came because he said many girls said he was out of this world. So he thought he was from Mars.

MUSIC CAREER:-

 In 2004 he went and signed in the Motown Records. He was not that successful in it though. But he met  Philip Lawrence a producer and a songwriter who together with an engineer started the band Smeezingtons. In 2006 Philip Lawrence introduced Bruno Mars to Aaron Bay Schuck, who is the manager of the Atlantic Records. Aaron selected Bruno mars as soon as he sang him a few songs. But Bruno mars was not officially signed to the Atlantic Records till 2009. He released his lead single Just the way you are on July 19 2010 which came in the Billboard Hot 100. Which was followed by the release of his debut album Doo Wops and Hooligans. He released his world famous Grenade on Sept 28 2010. His debut Album Doo wops and hooligans scored over 55,000 copies. He co-wrote the song in B.O.B "nothing on you". and "Billionaire" for Travie McCay. He also Co-wrote the famous song Waving flag. He co-wrote hits like Right Round for Flo Rida. He was arrested on Sept 19th 2010 for the procession of cocaine in Las Vegas. It is reported that he said that he was foolish and he never had used any drugs in his whole life-time. The court however ordered him to take a drug counseling course. Bruno Mars was seen in the release of  the bad meets evil singles Lighters.
